So basically what I am saying is would I be better off taking him out and trading him back in.
If so is there any other wrasse I could add or should I not just try it if I can't/shouldn't anyone have any good fish suggestions.
I have a melanurus wrasse, yellow tang, 2 occ. clowns, 2 starfish and 3 shrimp with hermits and snails (also the mystery but^^^).

OK the mystery and melanurus and getting along fine and my next fish I got yesterday was a yasha shrimp goby and I put him in there, acclimated before, and he went straight to my heater and then all the fish came up to him and were biing him all except the yellow tang, I have a yellow tang melanurus wrasse, mystery wrasse, and two occ. clownfish and the yasha, so I turned off the lights for about 20-30 minutes and poof he is gone I know they dig their tunnel and hide for a while. So my question is how long will he hide for and is there a distinctive way I know where he is digging. I also have 2 starfish and a sea cucumber so they move the sand a little too to go under the rocks .

My Yasha is VERY skiddish. I don't recommend them without pistol shrimps, because this usually makes them more scared. In anything larger than 20-30G, it could be weeks before you see it again.

The dragonet and the yasha won't fight if that's what you're asking. But, keep in mind that those two wrasses are going to eat the pods, so you're going to have to watch and see. I have a dragonet in my system along with a bunch of pod eating wrasses, but my refugium is huge and flourishing.

No I was concerned about the wrasses.
Like how do I know if the yasha is still alive. Also do I have to like spot feed the yasha.

The only potential issue with the wrasses and the dragonet would be if they're all competing for the same food source and it's not enough to sustain all three.
Give the Yasha time to settle in. The more you try to find it, the more it will hide. It took mine a long time to trust me. She now eats from my hand, but it wasn't easy to get her there. She still will hide if I approach the tank too quickly.
It will grab food when it needs it, don't worry about spot feeding.

I havent really been trying to find it I just hope he is still alive and eating i havent seen him at all and I dont see any signs of him jumping out .
Also thats the only issue that I think there would be. Also how much are ORA blue mandarins?

Are blue mandarin dragonets the same as green mandarin dragonets or are there differences. Because Ora's website says "
Quote:
The Blue Mandarin, also commonly referred to as Green Mandarin"
Because on this website and from different pictures they look like the blue has brighter colors and such, or is it just the pictures.
Also is there any difference from all the mandarin dragonets other then the color and the pattern?

The Blue and Green mandarin are essentially the same animal. The Red mandarin is also the same beastie, but with a genetic aberration that allows more of the red pattern to show through. Some fish stores advertise the bluer fish as "Blue Mandarins," and the greener fish as "Green Mandarins," but you really can't take that to the bank. It's all a matter of opinion.

OK my melanurus wrasse is starting to pick at my corcea clam I think it is. So is there an easy way to catch him or a way to get him to stop. Also he is pecking at the colorful part and the shell and the clam wont open up all the way anymore. I have 2 other clams he picks at my smaller derasa clam but at the shell not colorful part my other one he dosent look twice at its a tricanda hippopus the gray one. I feed them one day with rods food and the next pellet and provide algae about 2-3 times a week for my yellow tang which he eats a little to. Help as soon as possible.

Hmmm. I don't know much about the species, but a quick google search led me to some comments of this wrasse eating small invertebrates (mini stars, flatworms, small hermit crabs, small snails, etc). Basically anything they could get in their mouth. Now, I also noted a few comments of people who said they have had clams with their Melanarus wrasse and have never had problems with the fish nipping at the mantle, so I have to wonder......do you know if you happen to have pyramid snails bugging your clams?? The wrasse MAY be eating something that's considered a pest for the clams. Do some quick googling on Pyramid snails and check to see if you have any evidence of them in or around your clams.
It's an off-the-cuff answer, but it's the best I've got.

No but there are small white circles on it i think its just little featherdusters but thats on the shell part not the colorful part and one time it flipped over and the melanurus was biting at the foot/meaty part. I guess I will just feed a lil more.
