help yellow tang not lookin good

i just lost 2 fish a powder blue and a powder brown tang to ich. Now my yellow tang is not swimming good he seems to be leaning to his side a little bit. The fish does not look like he has ich????? I have a refugium should i place him in that to see if he gets better. also my nitrate was between 5 and 10 i did a water change to see if that helps :help:

Your high nitrates will certainly do the job of killing off your Tangs. They are pretty sensitive fish. All you can do are some frequent water changes over the next few weeks, and add lots of stability.

Nitrates of 5 to 10....Mine are constently at 20 in my reef...I cant get them below 60 in my FOWLR...Havent lost a fish..I think it is something else..Maybe a chemical capture issue...Nitrite and Ammo is alot worse then Nitrate....

i had a fish die yesterday i did not notice it for about 8 hours could that be why the tang is acting weird

Both your nitrates are kinda high. I have a 150 gallon reef also. But you are right nitrites are much worse. A 5 gallon water change is not much in a 150. do 10 to 15%. check new water, circulate new water and salt for at least a couple of days. Do you use reverse osmosis or some other type of filtered water?
