wait its inside your anenome......it shouldn't be able to eat an anenome that big....maybe its because your anenome is half dead anyway.......its going to die either way i would give your shrimp a meal while your at it :D

Nothing? Not even a little salad bowl or strainer to put him in and float ontop of the water's surface?

Just aptasia, not all kinds of anemones. Some peps may though, just a hit and miss, but it is uncommon.

*deep heavy sigh*
Peppermints shouldn't be much interested in a healthy anenome...but if it is dying or dead it may show some interest. Sometimes I just don't know when folks are serious and when they are just posting crisis after crisis simply because they have a keyboard and know how to type!:notsure:

That would be a Lystmata wurdemanni

If that's the case, it's either picking at mucus coming from the mouth of the anemone, or it's picking at a dying anemone. Either way, it would be a smart choice to return the anemone.

I'll bet the dieing anemone theory is correct. It's been bleached for some time now. And if I were the LFS guy, I wouldn't take back an anemone like that.
