This post is very funny.
It seem to me that, They are Fresh water speices.
Tombraider16:
When you clean your fresh water tank and you did not found any of them left of some of them are missing.
I think, you have not take care of your tank well enough and/or you have left the tank unattended for a while.
Some of your alive fish/snail have ate those dead ones, that's properbly why you did not found them.
If you want to make a Mini reef tank I suggest NO, NO, NO because of above reasons.
and you are too young for a Reef tank( this is just my personal refference). Beside, I believe that you don't even know what is a reef tank? and how much work is required for the reef tank?.
Mr. Tang: to answer your question
This guy is about 10 Year old or less
Any other suggestion guys

ha ha very funny no actually i'm not 10 And I"M NOT A GUY!! does female mean anything to you?? How 'bout 36?? Does that mean anything to you??!
at least krust was right about one thing..

and it's tombraider118 not tombrider16 :p :p

ghosts can and do survive in fw, in fact they are a fw species, which i have recently discovered myself, the lfs had us believing other wise for the longest tiem(and most of us know how i feel a bout the lfs's, but being shrimp, i had no reason to think otherwise),
however, i do have one question, how come you come here for fw advice?, as i said, LOL,we are all intrigued, and some of us have actually offered suggestions, which are realistic,LOL, we must really like aquariums,ROFL, otherwise you'd have been told off by now, instead we are debating and keep coming back, some of us ahve seemed to get irritated, but you have to excuse us, we love this hobby and some of us do not take kindly to pranks and misleading(not that yours is, it does seem real, but others definitely are not)
ok, isaw where you were thinking of converting, and wish to welcome you aboard and all the luck, teh best thing here for you is to seek out advice on sw and your change, but as for the fw fishes, you can see wahat kind of heat that generated, i would reccommend a book, called "the new marine aquarium" by michael paletta, this will help with many answers, and others can be asked here(just be cautious of the debating team), we will all try to help if you are serious, even(i'm sure) mr tang, he really does seem to be a good guy who would not mislead you, just thought you were pulling his leg(he takes this hobby seriously, as all should)
GOOD LUCK

Yeah and has a liking for Tombraider. Gimme a break. Less time on the computer and more time learning spelling and proper grammar. What is a "freash" water tank anyways? ;)

OK guys and Gals, seems we have given her enough greef (I can't spell). SO tombraider, why don't you give us a little info, 1st what kind of tanks did you have in the past, 2nd what you are currently doing with your tanks right now, and 3rd what are your goals. Be very specifec/accurate/clear when ever you type on a BB. It will make it easier for everyone else to help you. If you post the info I asked you to, I am sure someone will give you some advise/cautions. The saltwater community is a very expensive area, and mistakes can cost $$$$$. People take the treatment of marine fish very seriously and get very frustrated when they hear someone doing something that is wrong. Try to be patient and the rewards far outnumber the risks.

Okay mr. Tang you listen up and you listen good! You don't have to be a complete idiot just b/c i know how to spell GIRL and you don't... All you have to do is to take in to consideration that some people don't like your mean and rude posts... So if you don't mind  i would like you to stop dissing my posts and just keep to your self if you don't have anything nice or helpful to say. ( it's obvious that your mother didn't tell you that when you were little) and lastly i would very much appreciate it if you stop answering my posts and just leave me ALONE i tried to give you a chance but obviuosly one isn't enough, and in my book that's all you get! unless it's some people like fishhub who go out of their way to check and edit their posts! SO AGAIN IF YOU DON'T MIND (even if you do) PLEASE JUST LEAVE ME AND MY POSTS ALONEALONE!~!

relax tang, maybe she does want help, just does not realize how to ask what she is looking for, if she is sincere, and not to help her would be a waste of this wonderful board, not ot MENTION OUR REP., i realize your anger and agree to an extent, i am the first to chime in and help many others(and correct obvious misrepresentations), and have reported problems to the sharks when things are questionable, i think that this post just got off on the wrong foot, giving many the wrong impression about her, she could be seeking help, and now is confrotned with opposition which would make it harder for her ot ask instead of responding to our flames

yo'll get it, the thread just got startedoff wrong, i am sorry, but you did come to a sw board and asked questions about fw, there are pranksters out there who do things like that and much worse, just to rile us up for fun, and it does work, as you see; like i said if you are sincere, we will try to help, the heat just got a little high, no one was seeing through it
as i said we all take this hobby seriously and do not appreciate jokers(they have been here before), and someone could have serious problems as a result , this is what we do not want, AT ALL
now what is it you need?

i have decided on a nano reef for my ten gallon
and wanted to know what fish i should add first and about my cleaning crew..
oh and a lfs offered "already filtered ready to go water" should or could i accept it?

with a 10 gal nano, you wil be very limited for fish, maybe 2 or 3 max, depending on the fish, my first reccomendation is evaluate your situation, can you find room and $ for a larger tank? a 10 gal is a beautiful tank, but is difficult for a beginner, larger would be easier to handle(55 to 125 rectangles are actually the easiest) yet much more expensive,
but somtimes finances and space do not allow, a 10 can be done, you just have to keepup on it
as for fish, you will be limited to either a pair of clowns(percula or false percula) or 2or 3 green chromis only, you will not be able to add more, or really anything else(maybe a small damsel, one that will stay small)
what is already filterde ready to go mean?, ro or di? whatever it is i'd test it for phosphates and or nitrates, these things are often in h20 before youadd it to the tank
but first, i'd get some lr @ 15 lbs and a 3 or 4 inch sand bed, and a small powerhead, to start you cycle(oh yeah, plus saltwater and a good test kit for
SALTWATER ph, ammonia, nitrites, alkalinity and nitrates, with a reef, i'd also get calcium, phosphate too), you will need these
add your lr and sand and water, and wait for it to cycle(you can also add a dead shrimp to start it off) BEFORE you try adding fish, it can take anywhere from cays to 2 months for a tank to cycle, well cured lr will help to speed this up alot
HTH,and start another link wtih your next question, it takes me longer to scroll to the bottom of this than for me to open it
