Help

I have jsut set up (3 weeks) a 75 gal. reef tank and my fish and coral are doing fine. My problem is (1) snow in the water and (2) excess algea. I have a protien skimmer, a rufusium and am having fits trying to get the tank clear. Any thoughts?

If I am reading your post right, your tank has been set up for only three weeks? :notsure: If so, I dont think your tank has completed its origional cycle.. If you just added corals and fish in such a new setup you could be in jepordy of losing your stock...
The alge you speak of might be diatoms which is a sign of a new tank completing its cycle.
