How will fish do is badly cloudy water due to changing rock position
i had to get the stupid damsels out and i have another fish
will he be ok
or is the cloudy water just nothing big

Is the water cloudy because you stirred the sand up?
If so you should be fine.
If it is cloudy because you stirred up a lot of detritus from the bottom of your tank you could be looking at a potential ammonia spike.

Why not have just let him eat the damsels?

I mean not serious debris but some but seriously not much
