I tested my water today for the first time in a long time(Like a year):scared:. I have just kept one fish and some shrimp in my tank which is FOWLR. I wanted to make it into a reef and am getting back into tank maintenance. Anyway long story short:
20g
Salinity-1.025
pH-8.6
Calc- 500+
ammonia-.25
trate-100+
trite-0-.1
phosphate-3
the site doesn't have any alk tests so i couldn't test that, however I tested with my marine kit(red sea) which is expired so don't think it's right it was the high color. My question however is: Is the only way to fix these to do constant water changes everyday till they level? I think that is also one of my probs is I just started to do water changes again. I was only replacing evaporation. The water I started using was that Dannon water which I saw on here is probably the worst water to use LOL. So off to walmart tommorrow to get the RO/DI water (if someone has a pic of the container to make sure I get the right one would be cool).
Let it begin

Yeah well.. water changes surely need to be done... Dont expect to make that into a reef and neglect it then though... it wont last nearly as long.
Do water changes weekly and keep testing to see the changes and consider feeding every other day for a while.. you've only got a small amount of animals in the tank so its not like they're gonna need a ton of food.

Thanks for the help. I don't plan on neglecting it like I said I'm getting back into it (I've been very distracted in the last year). So this is what I get for it LOL.
