I assume that after you siphon off the flat worms you have to top off the tank with new water. Make sure this new water is the same temp, salinity, PH and alk as that of your tank.
Sounds to me like when you top off after the flat worm removal you are rapidly changing one of the above mentioned and your corals are not liking it much.
For spelling; google IE spell check, great tool for those of us who cant spell worth a dam, like myself :joy:

Thanks I guess I need to go and get some test kits cause I was left with none. I bought a salinity hydrometer and now I guess I need one for the PH. Any other tests I should buy? And the filter bag was filthy I changed that as well, do you think that may of had something to do with it?

You need to get PH , ammonia, nitrates and nitrites, calium, ALK for now.I would also purchase a refratometer, instead of the hydrometer. They are much more accurate.I think you caused the problem with the top off water also.I'm sure its not easy taking over the care of the tank but you'll get the hang of it

yes as mentioned above get all the test kits so u can see where your water stand at then u can go from there u need to do a 10% water change every 2 week IMO
sucks u got left the tank with no one to help u out but u at least are trying to figure it out lots of timesLFS's will tell u anything just to sell something
they sell remedies to get rid of flat worms too u might check up on those but thats probably not the only problem

well I took a sample of my water to the lfs and he said everything was fine I am going to see how things are in a few days and take another sample back because a different person will be working and I know I can trust him. But thanks for all the help if anyone can think of anything else I am trying to learn as much as possible and the terminology too!
