I had posted on something similar before, now I don't know if the odyssea is simalar to the corallife, as far as the fans go. But on the corallife the covers for the fans slide over and then off. Once you pop the cover off, the fan should lift straight up and out, becareful the wires from the fan run in to the light strip about an inch or two. You will see a little white plug. That is how they replace these fans when they go out. Unplug the fan and get a dry tiny bottle brush and clean off the fan unit. It should come apart. After cleaning it, put it back together and replace it just as you took it out. A few years back I was having issues with my corallife pc light, the fan would stop working. After I called them several times the customer service rep told me how to clean them. Then he proceeded to tell me how so many people have problem with their lights because they don't clean out the fans. I had to inform them maybe people would clean them out if they knew how to. They don't include this in the instructions. I wish they would. I know off and heard of several peoples lights catching on fire, because the lights got overheated because the fans quit working. I think it is just the company(s) trying to make extra money. The fan quit working and most people will go out and replace the light unit.
