help!?

hi, i have a prizm skimmer and there is water filled all the way to the top of it, including around the section with the foam in it, was wondering if this is supposed to happen??..

it seems to me your are producing wet skim.try reducing the water flow through the intake pipe by closing the tap.the water level should be at the height of the o-ring between the collecting cup and reaction chamber.if you have further problems phone the company,they are very helpful and have had great help from them

i do have it almost closed, so the water spins in a cyclone right where the o ring is, but in the two boxes around that, that are covered by the lid, there is water in there, filling the boxes on both sides of the collection cup.

I had the same thing happen to me when I first set up my Prism skimmer. I dumped everything out and started over again, making sure all the compartments were sealed properly. In mine, I had not correctly installed the intake tube and water leaked from it into those two side compartments that are supposed to be dry.
Try that.
