I have a question?
How do you do fresh water dips? to cure black ick on a yellow tang.
I have just got him and he has this black stuff on his lower fins.
Well anyway I have been reading posts on this site and there is alot of people saying that fresh water dips cure or help to cure black ick.
should I do a fresh water dip?
If yes how do you do a fresh water dip and for how long?
and do you add stuff to the fresh water like medication?
or do you just dip in pure fresh water?
Well anyway I will be thankful for any answers.

Fast way to get info is to go to search feature top right of screen type in freshwater dips and you will learn more then you probably want to know. I have found when you need a answer fast it works like a charm. It sometimes takes a while to get a posted answer the other way you get info right away. This is a feature that many of the new members such as yourself do not realize is here and available for you.

Pufferlover is right, we have had several detailed discussion resently about FW dips, so you won't have to search too far to get your answers.
