hey...tonight as i was seraching my lr, i found some weird little thing in a small hole, the hole was about the size of a ...m&m maybe...but inside that was another round ball, size of a nerd candy...very small with some tenticles extending out...it was foggy white...no pics yet because the camera isnt with me, but hopefully soon. thanks everyone!

yea, i've looked at the thread, but the thing is so small its very hard to tell...or at least it is very hard for me to tell...i'll try and get a picture later tonight again.

i'm not sure i'm gonna be able to get a pic, this thing is so small, and its in a small hole.....plus i'm not an expert on my camera quite yet with water shots, lol....is there anything else is coulddd be beides aspastia...something that is has little tenticles and waht not...looks like it has a stalk...and i think i found another, maybe i can get a pic of that...if i can find it again., we'll see! please help

My guess is a peanut worm. Wait until your tank has been dark for awhile and then take a peak at it with a flashlight. I found one in my tank. It's in a hole in a rock. It only streches out of the hole to feed when the lights are out. It never actually leaves the rock. They have white tentacles at one end. It also fills up its hole with what looks like poo about once a week. If it is what you have, they're harmless.

well, i have no clue...i'll keep trying to take pics, but they come out blurry since its so small, and i cant find the other one anymore,lol....what setting do you all use to take pics of your aquarium???

Well I'm no expert but have gotten a few good pics. I turn out all of the lights in the room and leave the tank light on. I also use a tripod at least a foot away from the aquarium. The tripod really helps with the blurriness. Also, it helps to use the macro setting if your camera has one.

well i'll try and see if i can find anything....but i looked at the pic of a peanut worm and it doesnt really look like it, not that they all look like that, but ion comparison, mine has longer tentacles...and it was a lot skinnier...prolly close to the this ll

ok,well here is a picture of something else i found on another rock, its a little thicker than the one in the other hole...but looks almost the same....the second pic is of the rock and what not so you can get an idea of how small it is....i do have xenia, but i didnt think it would bt that....any ideas??thanks
