Heniochus Butterfly HELP!

I have a my H. Butterfly in a ten gallon QT. He has ick. I tested the water yesterday for ammonia and it was fine. I was not home last night and when I got home this morning he acted fine and was swimming. I went back in an hour later and he was laying on the bottom breathing hard. His eye looks like it has something peeling off. I rushed and changed the water, did not test the old water, and put some new in. I did about a half water change.
Any ideas on how to save him? I do not think I have much time!

Ok, few things to remember, Butterfly Fish are VERY hard to keep alive, they get ich like crazy and water perimeters HAVE to be perfect or they will not survive. The questions I have for you is, what size is your tank? How good is the quality of your water? How long did you have your marine tank and has it cycled?
And the answer to your question, sadly, it won't survive...Which I see already happened. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry about your loss. I have 2 Heni's and think they are great. They are active swimmers, eat almost anything and have interesting personalities. Both have survived illnesses when treated with copper. What were you doing to treat the ich?
