I dont know what the norm is on the two tangs mine get along great. Ive been told not to put a purple tang in with my yellow because they will not get along. I wanted to add one but I would hate for the two to fight.

this is my understanding. that two tangs of the same body shape will fight, but that two of diff body types wont. also they should be put in together at the same time. I want a hippo and a sailfin, but also thinking of a kole and a yellow.

YES, I did!
And it sounds to me we can have our Hippo AND Yellow Tang!
I did some more reading last night and nothing I read said "no".

Congrats!!! I hope you guys get the fish! I know I really enjoy watching mine. They are so pretty together.
