1st off, I know I only post when I have a question,but you guys are so good that all I have to do is read and 9 times outta 10 my answer is here.
Anyways, this stuff has been growing on my polyp for about 4 weeks now. The lps said it was some kind of worm (?) not sure. Its growing alittle on another piece of lr but not as big. My problem is I dont know what it is, if its good or bad and now I just looked in the tank and it has moved the rock that the polyp it is on. IS THIS NORMAL? Any one know what it is? Thanx for any help.

P.Ss there was a big size of rock under there and now it seems a lot small as if its eating or destroying it. HELP

Im assuming that it is a sponge cuz if it wasnt someone would have posted to say it wasnt so. Thanx reefreak. Its safe to say that its ok to have then? I cant find any pics that look like it.

i would get rid of it, if it is bothering the polyps (thats just me) sponges in time will die anyway if its not that it could be some sort of macroalgea in which cause becomes unsightly in you DT and your going to remove it anyway...
