Heres my problem guys

I have a 250 gal acrylic tank with 344 lbs of lr not many coral ( i have 3 hammers,2 cup corals, and a large devils hand leather.) Fish go like this i have a sohal tang, 2 yellow tangs, 2 purples, 1 red sea sailfin, 7 chromis(green) and a lawn mower blenny. my problem is the my tank has an amber color to it. next thing i know you guys will ask is parameters. my specific gravity is 1.025, 0 nitrates 0 nitrites 0 Ammo p.h is8.3.
My filtration consist of my main sump which is powered by 2 little giant 9's i also run a pent air ql-40 u.v sterillizer , protien skimmer and a knop calc reactor. with pin point monitoring can someone help me here.

Do you have any type of mechanical filtration in your tank such as chemi pure or chemi zorb (carbon ) that usually gets the smells and dicoloration out of the water.

I just started to run a little bit of carbon in my tank about a week ago and thats wehn the amber color poped up

It might be the carbon wasn't rinsed off enough and you got some of the dust from the carbon in the water?
I'm not sure though.
