hermi crap eating blue angle?

i had a 1.5" blue angel, and it was eating fine and look fine. i feed him one morning and when i came back from work in the afternoon he was on the sand and 1 blue hermit crap and 1 red hermit crap where on top of it eating him.
can hetmit crap grab a fish and eat kill it?
should i remove the hermit craps from a tank?

Fish was almost certainly already dead before crabs got to it. Check water quality. How long have you had the fish that died and do you have other fish.
ps hremit crap
kinda makes me giggle every time I read it.

What size is your tank?
What fish do you have?
Do you have coral?
Do you have a sump/fuge or canister?
What do you have now for a cleanup crew?
What substrate do you have?
You should have hermits and a variety of snails as long as you don't have fish that will eat them. How many depends on tank size.
