hermit reproduction

How common is it for blue leg hermits to reproduce in captivity? one of mine relesed thousands of larval hermits into my tank tonite.
baby hermits=happy corals (green open brain is especially loving it
)

man i never get my hermits to reproduce whats the size of yours and how old is it?

IMO fairly uncommon, chance of surviving untill maturity next to nil. they go through a planktonic stage wich is going to kill most of them if not all. but hey its free coral/fish food

Successful reproduction indeed would not be exceedingly common, due to pumps and such, but also lack of tiny shells that the would eventually need.
