Yeah; I don't see why not. I would actually recommend it.
Any more information about the tank?

Summer, I just responded to another of your posts in which you said you are in a cycle. I wouldn't put anything else in the tank until it's done. A month will go by faster than you think.

If you are cycling; just wait till the end of the month. I would get damsels outta there if you ever want nice looking fish that aren't dashing for cover from them. Those suckers are mean and after you get stuff in there you'll never get them back out.
Then throw your cleanup crew in (hermits and the such)...
Then a fish or two...
Should work out pretty well... just keep going slowly.

Its hard to go slow sometimes with so much exciting stuff out there  its easy to overcrowd and push the ammo/nitrite/nitrate limits... but in the end when hundreds of dollars of livestock is wasted its depressing. Slow is key

This is very very true. I know domino damsels are extremely agressive and hardy. Other than that I do not see a problem with this choice. Do make sure to not overstock and stress your fish resulting in disease.

I have a Blue Devil Damsel in my tank with a pretty good sized hermit. The crab was in the tank for almost a year before the damsel was put in. No probs.

My damsels (blue velvet and yellowtail) have never messed with any of my hermits to my knowledge...
