The ones that go up your urethra while you pee are from the amazon river in south america. they are actually little fish though. they are attracted to your urine and swim right up the source and lodge themselves in there via a barbed hook. yay animal planet!

sounds highly unpleasant. also never visiting the amazon. so do they just chill out in there or do they eat your brain or somethin too?

They are in lakes in florida to but I could careless I don't swim or pee in them anyway
