Hey De Bayside CD what u think??

just got it, not sure what to think bout it. sounds a little more popish sounding so i dont know i just dont want them to turn into the next big sell outs. then id have to remove my entry way painting and have to end up getting my arms sleeved (which i want to do anyway)
but overall i think i like it so far just worried.

guess what?? they are going to come to san francisco in March!! I'm so excited... you should come up to carmel and go see them. They are playing at sims. it's a really really really small bar. I'm going to meet Anthony!!! you don't even know how excited I am!! anberlin is headlining, but I don't care about them lol

Anberlin is a great example of sell-outs. They used to be called SAGOH and they played and lived locally. They then changed their name and style, got a little popularity and snubbed everyone. Now they sound like everyone else.

ya ill check it out when they go there maybe i will but i havent really heard of the bar so ill look into that, but they play here march 5 my bday so ya im pumped for that.
ya i dont like anberlin at all so ill have to just put up with that.

slims is awesome... you would love it! in the bayside profile on the baysiderocks site it says that slims and some place in chicago are their favorite places to play at!

i will for sure but i have no camera and ive been takin pics with my phone and it wont do it justice trust me. the pics i have on a portable drive with my 10000 some songs and my gf always seems to have it but thanks for reminding me ill bug her to bring it to my house

Lauren and Bayside, Tell me which album to check out. I previewed the newest one on Itunes and it sounded like every other band of the genre. What is your favorite album? I would like to give them a fair shot.

look at the split- EP thats the cd that got me hooked. Name taken is another band that is also on that album and they are also pretty good.
The self titled album is also great... I love the song We'll be OK.. all the other cds are also awesome lol I love the song "baby Britain"

I was just looking back at the albums and I think my favorite is sirens and condolences... don't get me wrong though... I love all the albums, but I find myself listening to this one over and over again.

I like the cd, but I must say it isn't as good as the others... Duality is awesome! I don't think they could be sell outs even if they wanted to... Anthony just doesn't have that poppy mainstream kind of voice... just my opinion

ya id agree it isnt as good as the others. Prolly have to agree again that duality is one of my favs so far.
yes they will always be one of my favorite bands xtra high but i just dont want to see them turn into anything close to what like say Fallout Boy is. even tho i dont think it is gonna be possible considering the type of things they sing about.
Ya also get sirens and condolesences, its a suite cd, pretty much every song on the cd is one of my fav songs.

yeah... the first song that I ever listened to was cold and blue and lifeless... I loved it lol a song about wanting someone to die. The lyrics are really kind of morbid, and that's not what sells, but hey... who knows anymore. I hope they don't ever play on MTV(like falloutboy), because that's what makes a band change to suit the mainstream listeners.

ya after listing to the cd for like almost a week straight im starting to like it more and more. Duality is still prolly my fav but i like Carry On a lot. I am actually thinking about coming the 15th to see them in san fran.
my gf cant go so i think im just gonna bring a few friends so im prolly just gonna fly into san fran that mourning and roam around there for the day until the concert and then head back to carmel. now i just got to find a way to switch my cars at the airport cuz its only a 2 seater and im bringin 2 friends, haha

just started listening to Ludo again cuz they should have a cd coming out soon, but i dont know if you like them or not but if you do or never heard of them Good Will Hunting By Myself is a great hilarious song
