Hey you Nano people!

My wife wants a nano and I get to do a complete custom build.
The DT portion will be a 6 gallon acrylic setup and I am planning on doing another 6 gallon setup under the DT as a sump. The tanks will measure 10x14x10 ID which is 6.1G
The lighting will be provided by a coralife 18w x2 pc fixture.
The DT will be "Reef Ready" and I'm going to try to use a mag2 for circulation. The return will be 3/4" Y'd into a 1/2" nozzle on each side of the tank.
I ordered the DT tank today and should get to start actual construction in two weeks.
Any input is welcome.

Got the tank today and got a temporary stand setup to test out a hob filter and the coralife light.

I had it made by a local acrylic place. It was right at $50 for a one off tank. This will cost me a little more than buying an off the shelf setup, but it will be what I wanted instead of just being close.

I opted to add another PC fixture... the lighting looks as good to the eye as my MH/t5 setup on one of my other tanks.

Really cool setup you have going there... can we get some more pics of the stand/canopy.. any build pics... very interested.. even if you had some rough blueprints.

Also, did you decide against the sump with the mag 2.5?

I can make a build thread tonight when I get home from work.
I ended up going with an AC70 hob that will be a refugium(will be home to chaeto and pods to supplement my mandarins. I am going to use a Koralia Nano pump for in tank circulation. Right now the AC70 is being used as regular filtration until I can make the time to mod it to a refugium and pick up a nano pump.
I still haven't sanded and painted the stand, I got in too big a hurry to see it put to use.
I decided against the sump because I wanted to keep the overall height down for this one to keepit desktop friendly.

I forgot about this thread.
The stand has been panted a semi-gloss black and looks great with the brushed aluminum hardware.

Lots of livestock. Several mushrooms, 5 or 6 kinds of zoas, kenya tree, a leather, and currently 2 small maroon clowns.
I am thinking about selling it so I can concentrate on my other 2 tanks. Having 3, even with one this small is kind of a head ache.
