Hi everyone,
I just finished my final in school and thought I would pop on and say hi to all, and Wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas(I'm a week early, but don't know if I'll be back on before holiday, gonna try) Now that I'm done with school for the term I need to get my baking done and all the gifts wrapped and still make our travel plans. We decided to wait until after the holidays for our trip to Vegas. I think we have finally decided on leaving Jan 9th. Can't wait.
Has any on every stayed at the Aladan Hotel?
Anyway, talk to you all later, Lisa

Merry Christmas to you too Lisa. Congrats on making it through finals. I have to write a paper over the break! I haven't stayed at the Alladin (and can't really even spell it) but, if we can believe "The Apprentice" it will be torn down and a new Trump casino/hotel will go up in it's place. So at least you'll get to stay there before it is gone.
Have fun!

Wrassecal, Oh my, I had not heard they we're planning on tearing the Aladin down. I just read that it was rebuilt in 1998 after they blew it up. For what I can see and have read on the website, it sound like a beautiful place.
I have gotten 3 out of 4 of my final grades back already, the 4th is sopoused to be posted by Monday.
Hi Beth, how is the weather in FL. It's starting to feel like Christmas here in Michigan. Lisa

Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what they said on the show. I googled it and it didn't mention the Alladin in the press release.
I'm such a google freak these days, I google everything.

Good for you, flying in the face of fear so to speak. My sis-in-law will not get on a plane for anything. She has missed some great trips that some of our group has gone on..Vegas, Costa Rica, San Fransisco just to name a few. She is now dating a guy who has a lot of money and travels quite a bit. He and some friends are flying to Miami on Dec. 26th, renting a yacht and sailing the West Palm Beach, Boca Raton area for New Year's then going to the Orange bowl to watch OU crush USC in the National Championship. I told her to get to the doctor, tell him she needs drugs and doesn't have time for therapy, then to get on that plane and go have a great time! I think this time she is going to do it.
I love flying myself. Just getting on a plane and knowing that in a few brief hours I will be in a new and exciting place makes me happy.:D

That is the plan with me,

[hr]
! :D I'll be happy for awhile.
My hubby said we could drive, but I hate traveling far in a car, so flying is something that I will over come. I hope! We have a 75 minute layover, I just hope the experience is a good one before we get there, I may not make it back on the plane.
