Hi... I'm newest to the Board!!

Hi. I have been watching these boards and all of your posts and tanks for a long time now as the outsider before deciding to take part. You all have AWESOME tanks and it really is entertaining to see everyones opinions and experiences! anyway, i thought i would welcome myself.;)
still pretty new to the world of salt water after long time of putting it off. i read some books and i am ready to go.
first question: how do i get a cute picture under my name like everyone else has??? and also, the names/ranks under my name...how does that work? i am a peppermint shrimp.

Its always nice to see new members join in...I hope you get some help along the way and in turn help out those that you can.
In regard to the avatar you'll first need to get I believe its 20 posts under your belt then go to the user cp up top and there you'll be able to select a on-site avatar or use one of your own. The rankings are automatic based on number of posts...except for sharks/moderators...they are selected.

Welcome to the "New Hobbyists" board! I too, am new here. I've only been around for about a month. This board is very good, full of great advice from great people with great tanks!! :) This is a very great board...trust me ;-)
