Hiding Niger

I bought a Niger Trigger two days ago and he has not eaten. He will not come out from a rock he has been in the whole time. My other fish do not seem to care about him. I know nigers hide until they get use to their enviornment, but my question is, how do I get him to eat until he decides to come out? Or will he just come out when he gets hungry enough?

I think he will come out when he's hungary enough...you know how triggers are, they spook easily. But try luring him out with live feeder-fish and boiled chopped shrimps -- favorites of all triggers. Hope this helps.

He'll come out when he gits hungry. Just try feeding him any kind of meaty food. Be sure not to try to scare him from his hiding spot, once they lock in there fins there not going any where until there ready.
