i would recommend doing a water change every week to get it down if you have refuge get some cheato and place in your refuge, i would get a phos reactor (TLS) and get some de-nitrate media and you should be fine.

We keep calerpa in the refugium, I have a canister filter with rowaphos and a denitrater. I need to get the levels down for my corals.

You can do waterchanges as often as necessary to keep your levels in check. In extreme situations you could even do waterchanges everyday. Just make sure that pH, salinity, and temp all match the tank water. I would recommend increasing the amount of water you change every week instead of the frequency though. If you are doing 10% try doing 20-25%.

Thanks, I have it down to 30ppm but I know for my corals it should be as close to 0 as possible.
