i would go with around 50lbs. more LR. should help your nitrates go down, should have about 1.5 of LR per gallon.

Clean the filter often, on a regular basis...
Excess organic material gets caught in the filter sponges/floss and if left in too long will start to decompose and cause a rise in nitrAtes...
Cleaning the filters on a regular basis prevents this excess build up from becoming part of the "biological" cycle and "overloading" your tank with nitrAtes...
A "better"/more effecient skimmer will help in removing "organics' from the water colum as well...
Allowing your LR (and a bit more wouldn't hurt) to continue the biological process in converting the nitrAtes to nitrogen...

If your skimmer produces foam...it is working...everyone with the big dollar items...
What kind of substrate do you have? If you have crushed coral, you need to make sure it is vacumed thoroughly...
Water changes 2x a month, depending on water volume changed, doesn't sound to adequate to me...
Do you have an algae problem?

I do not like nor trust any denitrate (or de phosphate) products.
your nitrates are acceptable for fish. Maybe a little questionalbe for long term health of the anemones.
The way to get you nitrates down is to add plant life. everything else is moot.

Advice given to me was to remove the bioballs from wet/dry slowly. I'm still working on getting mine out. If you don't want to remove them, at least take 1/3 or so out and clean them. HTH!
