High Ph and High temps Problem?

I recently checked my ph and its like 8.5...isn't that a little bit high? Its the same in the morning and the same at night, which is good I guess because that means its not fluctuating. The Kh is like 11 or 12. I use the Kent Tech A & B to buffer. All the fish and corals are fine...should I be concerned?
Another problem is the temp. Every morning I wake up its like 86 or 88. When I turn the fans on during the day, when the lights are on, the temp goes down to about 82. What I don't understand is that fact that I have no glass tops on it and the weather here has been in the 50's like every night, but the tank water temp is still high. I know the 60g has very little surface area for evaporation since its only 12" wide, but what should I do leave the fans running 24/7? I also just added more powerheads to the tank recently. I have 2 maxi 900's and two 1200's this also doesn't include the mag3 that for the skimmer and the rio 800 for the UV light. Maybe too many pumps makes too much heat in too small a tank? I am puzzled. I think that my high temp could be the source of my high ph but i am also not sure about this...
help?

Your ph is fine. Slightly high but so long as its stable i wouldnt worry about it. A good kh will prevent drastic swings in ph btw.
As far as temp goes leave the fans on 24/7. Water temperature that high is dangerous and you can loose your things if it stays that high. It probably is to many pumps. You've got 6? big ones....

I do have a lot of pumps, but I need the 4 maxi's for current and the mag for the skimmer...If I get rid of the rio800 then I have to get rid of the UV and now I am still at the end of battling a hair algae problem...I will get rid of the UV and rio800 soon though...within the next 3 months...

I would think The high temp would mean less 02 which would equal a lower PH...
Do you have a heater? what kind of lights do you have?

I decided to keep the fans on most of the day and night and it made a big difference...the temp is right about 80 where it should be...
I did a 10g water change to correct the ph problem and it has lowered to about 8.3 the kh is buffered to about 12 still...
I have 4 46.5 inch URI vho bulbs on a 660 icecap ballast...
think the fan thing solved the problem
