High Ph Level !!!

Hi... I am preparing a mixture of saltwater for my 29 gallon tank. The Ph level is high. How can I bring this down before I put it in my tank?
When I tested it it was at 9.0.

How long after you mixed it did you test?

pH can be softened by a water softener, or acidic compound. Be careful though... your sand and LR will buffer that pH by themselves =/

I waited about half an hour.

It has been almost two hours and the ph looks good. I set up the drip method so everything should be A OK!

You shouldn't use freshly mixed salt water. Wait at least 24 hours after mixing to add it.
