High quality cameras

From what I have read any EOS/EF film lens will work on the Canon EOS digital system, but you may have to adjust an f-stop or two to get the results you want.

We have lots of Canon lenses packed away from the film days, but have yet to try one on my wife's 40D. I guess we just havent seen it as a priority.

*sigh* time for me to stop.... making typos and STILL can't edit.
I figured out how to edit yesterday afternoon.
Refresh the page you are viewing/want to edit.
Do not click on, open anything, or switch to another tab and return.
Go directly to the edit button on your post and it will open the edit box with your vernacular intact.
Edit and submit WTITHOUT using smilies as they interfere with the process enough to not allow you to post after editing.
If I do ANYTHING before clicking on the edit button, the type is lost in that great alphabet abyss.
