i have the hippo in a 55g, witch he has been doing very well for over 2 years. i put the damsel in there a few months ago cuz i am worried that the lion in my 125g will get him. the fighting has been going on for a few weeks(3 maybe). i dont plan on moving the hippo until i he gets to 3in or more. so far he hasnt really grown. maybe .5 in at the max. would it be best to pull the damsel and put him in the 125 again? or should i give him away?

That doesnt mean jack. Does a $80 dog mean less to somebody than a $500 one? Dont sit there and tell me its not the same. An animal is an animal.
The guy obviously likes the damsel. I like them. They are very active fish and have some decent colors. Id say put the damsel in the qt tank and let him live his life out.
The hippo is very stressed. Id keep him in the tank with the everything he is familiar with. The damsel seems in great health. Move him to the 29 and allow time for your hippo to grow.
