I have a blue hippo tang that is getting darker and darker, almost blacl with some blue spots. It seems healthy, it is eating and swimming, but I am not sure why it is getting darker.
It is in a 180 with a yellow tang, GSM clown, and 3 green chromis.
Any ideas?

How long have you had this fish?
Can you provide a picture possibly?
What are your water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, kH, salinity, and temp)?

the chromis were added about 1 month ago, I can not imagine they would effect it. I also had a clam die about 6 weeks ago and a small amonia spike from that, but he was dark at the point already. I am getting a Naso tang today, but it will in QT for 4 weeks. The Hippo seems fine, just dark.
