Hitch hiker coral ID

Got this on some Fiji live rock. I thought it was totally dead when I put the uncured rock in my tank about a month ago. It withstood the cycle and started regrowing. Now, the tissue is almost totaly grown back and it is starting to get it's color back. Any ideas on what it is?

Looks like Porites Coral Or Encrusting Montipora - Hard to tell from the pic but probably Porites.

At first glance I'd agree that its some type of porite...what type lighting is it under? Below is a pic of a ellow porite I added several months ago...mine is a bit larger but does yours look close?

Well it could be Porites, but the polyps look much smaller, just like fuzz on top. It's under 2X250 watt 6500K MH with 440 watts actinics.
Maybe I could email you a better pic.

There are many types of Porites. Here is a piece of Porites that came in as a hitchhiker when I got some LR last summer. The pic on the left is with the polyps in the pic on the right is with polyps extended.
