ok heres the deal I just bought a beautiful 10lb piece of kalani live rock and now have a lot of critters I have these little brownish ant like things running around also a tube that pops out eat a piece of live rock and goes back in he's about 1mm in dia and 3/4" long what are these?

1. Do pods sound like what you're seeing? There is many different species of pods which you could be looking at. Do you think you could discribe it alittle more clearer?
2. I couldn't tell from your discription. Possibly a feather duster?

I have a hitchhiker feather duster that pops out of holes in the rock sometimes, he's clear with red stripes and very small

mine isnt a feather duster theirs no feathers its like a piece of sphagetti and he is maybe 3 inchs and he stays in a rock pops out and grabs something and then does it again and again and again the problem with getting a picture is there so tiny you wouldnt even be able to tell and plus I can see them with my red light
