Hitchhiker Boxer Crab??

Just found him sitting near the back wall of my tank. First time I'd ever seen him. About a week ago I added a few new soft corals. Guess he was in one of the rocks. I'm assuming that's what he is based on SWF.com picture of one.

Don't be scared the first time he molts... it looks like he is dead but then a couple of days later there he is

Thanks for the looks folks. Picture isn't the greatest....need a new camera. But, yeah I was actually kind of concerned when I first saw him. Didn't know what it was. After researching and identifying I was pretty psyched. He's gone back onto the rock work and is hard to find. I'm sure he'll pop out again. I have 2 emerald crabs, one that is pretty big. Should I be concerned with either one together? Back to the tank to look some more.
Thanks.

I have emerald crabs in my tank and they don't seem to bother him. don't be concerned if you can't find him, mine goes missing for days or weeks at a time and then one day he just comes out in full view. Its always a treat to see him out.

I consider myself very lucky to have landed such a neat hitchhiker. I'm sure it's not the best thing anyone has ever gotten for free via hitching a ride into there tank....but pretty cool regardless. I'm happy!

I would love to hear what others have been suprised to find in their tanks?

crabsrkewl - Gee let me think
.....I think I'll keep my crab.lol Thanks for the very generous offer but I've already dealt w/ enough aiptasia. Thank God for peppermint shrimp.
arod268 - Good question. I wonder being they(boxer crabs) are continuously in and out of the rockwork. Even w/ good lighting how much do they actually get. I've also read that they may lose the anemones when they molt. How would they get them back again if you didn't have an anemone in your tank?

Questions, questions???

They put down the anemones when they molt then they pick them up again.
Any body know the answer to my question about the lighting if its needed
