Hitchhiker - Coral? Anemone?

Alright, sorry I don't have a pic, and I've looked fairly extensively at the boards to find out what it could be and haven't come up with anything...so here you go:
After starting my 24g Nano and putting in LS and LR (from LFS and saltwaterfish.com) I noticed these tiny spots sticking to the glass. I'm not referring to the little animals (pods?) that buzz around, but rather these are fixed with what looks like 7-10 tenticles. They range from 1-2 milimeters and are numerous. They are clear and yellowish. I'm still in the cycle and only adding occasional batches of live brine shrimp so I'm not worried about them (in fact I'm kinda pleased they are doing well in my tank) but I'm curious as to what they could be.
I have a feeling once I add a fish or two and the cleanup crew, it will be a moot point.

Have you looked up aptasia? Could've come on your live rock...if it is...get it out while you don't have anything in there. :) Good luck, hope you figure it out!

I've checked aiptasia. That seems the most likely, but I can't find any sci info on their "juvienile" stages. I think I've convinced myself that they are anemones, but they are SO small. Seriously, you can barely make out the little tenticles.

Well if it ends up aptasia blast them with boiling water using a turkey baster. Just hit the spots with the aptasia on them dont just go firing boiling water in your tank. good luck.

Hmm, aptasia do start out pretty small but believe me they do get bigger! They're a real pest, so I would work hard at getting rid of them now before you have anything in your tank especially corals. My boyfriend is battling them in his tank right now, boiling water seems to work, although it's almost impossible to get them all. Peppermint shrimp are also said to eat them--he bought some the other day so we'll see how that works. Good luck!

Sounds like it could be tiny feather dusters. If they start forming little calcareous spiral tubes you'll know. 1-2 mm sounds about right, and the ones I'm thinking of start out white. Do the "tentacles" have little attachments sticking out perpendicular to them? I know it's hard to see...
