Here's a better pic
1st pic: is from underneath where you see the legs better which look like sharp thorn
2nd pic: is a better pic from the top where you can see the legs.
When i poke it with something it puts up the sharp legs from the side as a defense :notsure:

Is this good or bad. By the way i am sorry that i am taking long to send you ur sand but i was out of town for thanksgiving holiday i just got back this morning and tryed to make it to the post office but got there late sorry. I will get it out this week.

bristle worms can be good or bad. most of the time they are benificial scavengers and very few will harm fish, but they will eat clams.
however, i doubt it is a bristleworm. It appears to have an exoskeleton and it looks like legs go all the way around it. A bristleworm (or the most commonly referty to type, a fireworm) does have these characteristics.
it looks like some type of isopod.

I had some that looked like this when first introduced to an acclimating container(bucket). They soon stretched out and resembled the pics more closely. THis is the stressed position, I think.

its some sort of nudibranch...
They lay white squiggly eggs...
they EAT anemones from the base...
I just removed 2 of those from my 37 gallon, they killed my pink tip anemone...
get em out !!!

Do you have any other pics because it is hard to tell from that pic. The pic that i show it have's sharp thorn like legs that are white
