Hitchhiker ID???

We bought this live rock from someone that was breaking down their tank. I am not sure what it is exactly as we have no coral knowledge.

It's a bright orange color. Thanks for any help

some type of galaxea or flowerpot?
regardless, it probably won't do well at the bottom of your tank unless you have really good lights. can you get a closer pic?

Does look very much like a galaxea skeleton.
Are there tentacles or just skeleton? No flesh = dead.

Thanks for the help, I can't really get a better picture, the camera sucks. But there are actually dozens of little tentacles on it, and they have gotten longer since I took that picture.

hmm some sort of flowerpot coral maybe..have u looked anyup yet?

Well I've looked up both the galaxea and flowerpot corals and after staring up close to what's on my rock I think it's a brownish/orange galaxea coral.
