I'm thinking a candy cane, but I'm not sure. It's got a reflective top to it from the MH's. What do you guys think??

Hard to tell from the picture. It seems to resemble Red Bubble Algae.

Just something that will just grow larger and larger and larger.
I popped on in my tank trying to remove it and it did nothing.

I've seen the green variety take over a tank but never the red.
Remember that was just a guess. Without a closeup picture that's as good as I can guess.
