Hitchhiker

Found a hitchhiker today, its a starfish, its very white. About the size of my thumb. It went back into the live rock though and i havnt seen it since i fed my eel this morning. Once i find it i'll post a picture

I started out with one of those when I first set the tank up about two years ago, now I have about 30. From what I"ve read they are harmless and feed on algae and other detritus. Not to mention they are cool looking. :happy: They're hardy little guys too, survived a protein skimmer outage I had about a year ago.

How big do they get, any bigger than this? Because i need a starfish, do you reccommend i get one, or let this one grow.

it wont grow to big... itll split itself and multiply...
