I was cleaning my qt tank after removing a fish and noticed a bristleworm running up and down the side. I removed it, because I don't care for them much. I can't figure out how it got into my tank though. The sand was from home depot, and the water is ro/di. Can they be on fish? The only food the fish eat was frozen. I doubt a frozen egg could hatch...

I've got a good cleaning crew and don't find them neccessary. The possiblility of the damage they can do when they get bigger outways the benefits they provide in my opinion.

oh yeah and they came in some caulerpa I got.
