Hitchikers Guide.......Dont Panic

Hello,
Can someone identify this hitchiker, I bought home a toadstool leather today and on the back of the stalk is this.
It almost looks like some kind of anemone.

Yep its an anemone. An aiptaisa anemone......Kill it....

Very undesirable anemone. They can overpopulate a tank, sting corals and fish when in large numbers. My suggestion is to get a peppermint shrimp, most of them will be eaten in no time.
Feel free to look up aiptaisa posts on this board for hundreds of other opinions on the same.

Your cbs will might kill any pepperment shrimp you add. You might want to go to walgreens/cvs/ local

and pick up a syringe and lemon juice(cheaper than joes juice and other cures from lfs). Just inject the needle in the center of it and plunge a small amount. It will shrivel up right away, if it comes back repeat til gone.

i HATE these things. i am so pissed at my LFS...they continue to convince me their rock is aptaisa free...but the minute i put it in my tank BOOM 3 appear on the rock .so frustrating! i hate them soooooo much. ok im done :mad:
