Hi Dreeves,
I am breeding H. Erectus and am currently raising 2nd generation and hopefully soon 3rd generation. Dwarves and Tuberculatus. I will have pots arriving soon and hope to breed them also.
These were all purchased Captive Bred horses.
I have one Tuberculatus male that is soon to have his first brood and several of my dwarves have also produced fry and so far all are doing very well.

OMG! I can't believe I never considered fake plants, I tend to avoid that plastic decorative crap(no offense anybody just personal preferance) but since I didn't want to have to worry about anything but the ponies at first this seems most logical. And those fake plants sometimes look realistic. Also speaking of heat guards, where do I get one or what do I ask for? When I ask, the lfs guy directs me to the herp stuff even though I specify it is for an aquarium heater! This happened at two places and then he dissapears. What the he**? Thank you to everyone for their suggestions!

Hi Moopiespoo,
My lfs ordered some of my heater guards.
Try your lfs and also if you still have the packages for the heaters, check and see if they have extras you can order, such as the guards.
You could also do a search of Aquarium supply businesses and see if they stock them.
