I know the pic quality is poor... but can you identify please? It's light purplish with green dots all over it, and sort of looks like a brain coral in shape. There is another one growing a couple inches away, its about 3mm in diameter.

Definately floppy and soft... The picture quality is poor but I've looked all over the internet and haven't seen anything that looks close enough to it. The dots are throwing me off.

the dots you are talking about, are they arranged radially? i mean in rows radiating out from the mouth to the margins? and by dots do you mean little bumps? not dots as in polka dot pattern on the surface but raised mounds? the white base makes me think mushroom but jackris ric guess is also a good one.

Ricordia possibly?
I'm pretty positive it's a green ricordea. The green bumps are getting larger and it looks similar to a lot of green ric's that I'm seeing. If I can keep it alive (and growing) it should be a really nice addition to my tank. Do I spot feed it? I've read that people feed them frozen brine, and I've also read that they will live off of the lights alone...
