Have not adjusted or added anything to my tank for 2 months...lately I've got the oil slick on the top of the water...all levels are good....skimmer box is working....has something died thats causing the slick???
30 gallon
50 lbs LR
400 gph flow
AquaC remora skimmer
4 corals all doing well
1 CBS
1 Peppermint
1 Scooter
1 Nemo
asssorted snails and hermits

Post the current water parameters. Have you cleaned the skimmer recently? Are you overfeeding? LS or CC substrate?

I have always read and believe that just means you need to increase the breakage of the surface water. Is the skimmer the only means of this? If so, that could be the problem. HTH.
