Hole Drilled in LR?!?!

Came home from work today and i noticed a small pile of what i thought was sand on on of my rocks. Turns out its like dust and theres a small hole right above the pile. It looks like someone took a drill and drilled it. Its weird. Any type of hitchhiker that would drill a hole like that in live rock?

Mantis shrimp have the capability to do that. Do you ever hear any clicking noises coming from your tank? (That's usually the easiest way to determine if one has hitchhiked into your tank).

havent heard any clicking. hope i dont have a mantis.

LOL. My guess is a harmless bristleworm. Try putting some food by the hole, that will drag em out.

I'm betting on worm.
My rock has a lot of those little holes. Every once in a while I'll see a large puff of "sand" as one of em gets burrowed out a little more.

And i had no problems until i just recently put in 4 corals. I new i was gonna get something off one of those rocks. :thinking:
