Just kidding...he is a great player. Its just to bad he had to tarnish his career by taking performance enhancing drugs.

Bonds used steroids to build up his body muscle. If you look he never used to get more then 30 HR a season intil the mid-late 90's when he could suddenly hit 50 in a season, then in 2001 he undeservingly got the home runs in a season rec. and has now undeservingly beat the babe in career HR. You can also look at his other #s and see a big change that doesn't happen from just working out. There is a big difference in his size between the 2 pics posted before. I think I'm done now so

Bonds used streroids to build his body muscle. When he started he pretty much sucked. Now he can hit 50 HR in a season and has got 2 records that he doesn't deserve. If you look at his stats from the early 90's you can see where he suddenly started to play better and as he took more steroids he got better and better. He has now stopped because he knows the MLB is on him and he doesn't want to get caught.

Imagine if he started taking steroids in the late 80's or early 90's, he would have about a 1000 hrs by now...

Well yeah he would get better. lol he was just starting in the beginning right? You don’t even take in to consideration that people work hard to improve and become better. You cant magically become good. According to what you’re saying a player that takes steroids will hit 10000 home runs? I don’t think so… with all the steroid use that’s happening why aren’t we having these insane records that you claim happens with steroids? lolol u guys make me laugh.

yes people do work hard to get better but it doesn't get them better as quick as it did for him. Also even if a player did use steroids from day one it would take a lot to get that many HR with the pitchers being as good as they are so I'm not saying that that would happen. It just gets you stronger so you have more strength to hit the ball farther so you get more HR. Also yes Mark McGwire peobably did use steroids and that is why the MLB has been questioning him also.

i have nothing more to say! bonds deserves credit for his records because he is one of the best players ever (im not saying hes the best so dont jump on me about it).

he was a mvp before he took steroids...he is great but he wouldn't have the hr totals that he has if he didn't take them.

you can take all the steriods in the world.
you still need to have an eye for the ball, and make decent contact.
'roids do make you stronger, but they mainly help your body heal faster.
here is a pic of roger clemens from his early days.
he's what, 42 now? and still throwing 95+ mph.
he must be on roids- test him.

"I think pro athletes should be forced to take steroids. I think we as fans deserve the greatest athletes science can create. Let's go, anything that will make you run faster, jump higher, I've got high definition TV, I want my athletes like my video games, let's go. I could care less if you die at 40, you hate life after sports anyway. I'm doing you a favor." -Daniel Tosh
