OMG!!!! Guys forgive me for my idiocy. I continue to learn more and more everyday. I had no idea what a pod was before I came to this site.
I still had never seen one. But tonight, I got my blue led lights out that just arrived yesterday. I was just using them to look in the tank with all the lights out. When all of a sudden to the left side of my tank I saw what appeared to be little tiny gnats everywhere at the sand bottom. I was like what the hell is that. The more I watched, the more I realized this wasn't just sand moving through the current but it was what I assume are pods!!!!
There are tons of them!!! I don't seem to see them out anywhere else in the tank, but in this one spot they are freaking swarming. My CBS is right over there I'm assuming feeding on them?
That was way cool!!!
By the way, I got my baffles cut today and will sillicone them in tomorrow and have my fuge running by this weekend!!! I will have more pods after that.
Wow! I'm excited.
Of couse, someone might come on here and tell me, those aren't pods. Those are something deadly to your tank. Hahahaha... which please confirm my sightings are true.

After a second and longer look... they are everywhere at night. I had no idea!
How come I can't see them with the lights on? Are they hidden... or just

to my eye?

use a magnifying glass or better still a 10x lens (loupe) and check along the substrate, rocks and glass - you'll see them.
