like i said before...i am not a fan of any team in the playoffs right now...but i dont see any team that is strong enough to beat the pats...

THe Patriots level of play has also declined. THe once unbeatable now looks beatable. New York pushed them to the limit the last game of the season...and NE had more to play for then the Giants IMO
All that undefeated regular season crap means nothing if you spit the bit in the end.
NE is beatable by San Diego and/or GB/NY.
The Giants have already proved they can play with NE...giving them all they wanted the last game of the year.
Regrading the Pats....As coach Green stated..If you wanna crown em.... crown em...LOL
Good luck to all remaining teams and their fans..and here's to hoping for some entertaining conference championship games.

I just hope the Pats are as overconfident as you are.
Banged up? LT will be returning, Gates will be returning, and probably Rivers will be returning(though I like our back up QB better).
Crushed us earlier this year? Yeah, have you been following the Chargers at all? We blew the first half of the season, because the team had to get warmed up to the crapy coach Turner. But the last half the team has come together and we have been doing great.
It's going to be an interesting game, and again I sure do hope that the Pats are as overconfident as you are, because so were the Colts, and look what happened to them.

very true...but i still dont think that any team can beat the pats right now...even when they looked mortal they still found a way to win...people can make all the excuses in the world(ie. refs, injuries, ect.) but the fact still remains that they are undefeated and i dont see them loosing this year...
edit: it is just like the discusions that we had in week 11 or 12 and every week thereafter...people think that they wont do it or dont deserve it...but the fact is is that they are such a good team that they cant be stopped...

Again yes you did crush us earlier. I guess you haven't been watching us play or listening to ESPN, everyone knows the Chargers have gotten a lot better since the beginning of the season. The question is are they good enough to win. I'd say no, but I think they want to win more, and that's all that matters.
One thing I can garuntee, it'll be a good game Sunday.

LT isn't the RB he was last year, and because of Turner's play calling and the fact that every team makes sure they can stop LT, he isn't what's making this team happen. It's the fact that Philip Rivers is stepping up and able to make good passes to his star TE Antinio Gates, and his WR's Jackson, Chambers, etc. I'm not a fan of Rivers or Turner, but Rivers is the reason we have gotten this far.
Another overlooked thing is our offensive line. Colts didn't rush and our offensive line did great, and look at Philip Rivers passes. If the Charger's O Line can hold off the Pats rush, then we'll be in good shape. We got to keep our running game a threat offensively, and make sure Philip Rivers doesn't throw interceptions.
Defensively, we have are doing great. We got great linebackers, and our saftey's/CB's did great against the Colts passing game. Look at all the interceptions we had against Manning, 2nd best QB.
As long as we are healthy, have the passion we had against the Colts, and play like we did against the Colts, I'd say we got a good shot at going all the way.

you defense was great in that game but the only reason they were intercepted is because they were tipped...i am not playing your team down from a great win but the interceptions were lucky...

an INT is an INT no matter how it comes... tipped balls are far harder to catch than a ball right to a defender... besides the Pats had several deflection INTs this season and im sure you wouldnt call them lucky...
