Home depot sand or something similar??

i bought home depot sand before and it was WAYYYY tooo fine, like powder! is there something cheap and similar I can get elsewhere thats not as fine and powdery??

Use the vinegar test, take a handfull of sand and add several drops of vinegar, if it bubbles and foams then it's a OK to use, provided you rinse and rinse and rinse...IF it doesn't bubble then it's a silica based sand, if it does then it's a calcium based sand..
